1. Who we are

Tech Companion LLC ("we"), doing business as KC Tech Companion, is based in Johnson County, Kansas. This policy covers this website and the apps we publish.

2. This website

If you use the support form or the deletion request form, we receive what you type into it. That's your name, your email address, the app and topic you pick, and your message. If you email or call, we receive your address or number and what you tell us. We use it only to answer you and to do what you asked.

Netlify hosts this site and keeps standard server logs to run and protect it. Those logs record details like IP addresses and the pages requested. We don't use them to identify anyone.

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking code. Its fonts and files are served from this domain, so a visit here doesn't send your information anywhere else.

3. Our apps

We haven't released an app yet. Before we do, this section will name it and set out what it collects and why, who it's shared with, how long it's kept and how to delete it. The app's store listing will link here.

4. Who we share data with

Personal information goes only to the service providers we need to run this site and our apps, such as our web host and email provider, and only so they can do that work for us. Each must protect it at least as well as this policy does. Otherwise we disclose it only when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep support messages for as long as we need them to help you, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner. If the law requires us to keep a record, such as a record of a sale, we keep only that record and only for as long as required.

6. Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. To delete an app account and its data, use our deletion request page. For anything else, contact us using the details below. We answer every request, and we may ask you to confirm it's you before we act.

7. Children

This website isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If an app of ours is meant for children, its section of this policy will say so and explain what it does differently.

8. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how an app uses information it already holds, we'll tell people in the app before it takes effect.
